Hi Lavene, glad you managed to get on here...

Welcome to the club... that's great! Anyone is welcome to most of our trips that we have on (except for the yearly xmas get togethers which is generally members only)

Have you got started on looking for a vehicle? If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask as we're all more than happy to provide you with advice.

Come along to one of our monthly meetings and have a chat to a few of us.

Cheers, Dave

thanks Dave this sounds great.... so I could go to the events without a 4wd as yet??
I was looking for a 4wd but got really tired and stressed from it hahaha as was going to trade my car which is Holden Viva 2008 model only 35,000 ks for a 4wd but was persuaded at the time by a car dealer not too as would of been doubling up on k's for more money as well... Thinking maybe the best bet to get a second car and make that a 4wd just so I can take it 4 wdriving... I don't know so many decisions....

When are the monthly meetings and could I take my 2 little ones ?

Hi Lavene,

I don't think that there are any trips in the pipeline that don't require a 4wd. If youare really keen, you could meet us at the Quindanning pub (just not sure on what time we would arrive there).

Our club meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at the Safety Bay Bowls Club, Gloucester cres Shoalwater at 7.30pm. More than welcome to bring the kids along.

You could always buy a cheaper older fourby as a second car, If you can drive a manual then I would suggest going for a Nissan Patrol GQ they go for around approximately $3000 or thereabouts. Perhaps even a smaller fourby like a Suzuki Sierra but they can be a little cramped with the kids. Great vehicles for starting out anyways.

Don't be nervous - no one will bite you :) come down with the youngens and have a chat, you'll fit in well I'm sure!

Cheers, Dave
